Hello Viewers Today I am posting a very authentic, must try recipe green chilli curry goes heavenly with rice, rotis, parathas, puloas. It's very handy when no vegetables at home, Surprisingly it's very easy, quick to prepare.
This is my Mother in law's recipe, she preapares this specially for me during my visit to hyderabad, as I am great fan of this curry. after more than10 years I have tasted , I tried it recently and got almost same taste, my kids though they don't prefer spicy food at all even they can't even taste medium spiced food too, they too liked this curry to chore.
Best recipe when no vegetables at home, no time, for working women with minimum time of cooking, bachelors, It can be stored up to 1 week also as we are not using water in recipe, i strongly recommend this recipe to try atleast once to fell in love with taste of curry. Let's jump to recipe.
Ingredients:
- Green Chillies - 250gms (less spicy)
- Sugar - 2 Tbslpns(adjust)
- Till Powder - 2 Tbslspns(roasted till and powdered)
- Ground Nut Powder - 2 Tblspns
- Salt - acc to taste
- Lime Juice - extracted from 1 medium lemon
- Oil - 2 Tblspn
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tspn
- Urad dal - 1/2 tspn
- Jeera - 1 tspn
- Curry Leaves - 5 (optional)
Method:
- Slit green Chillies, keep a side .
- Heat oil in kadai, add curry leaves, green chillies, saute for 3 mins till raw smell vanishes and chillies turn little crispy.
- Now add Sugar, wait till sugar dissloves.
- Now add till powder, groundnut powder, salt, mix well.
- Cook till oil seperates in low flame.
- Add Lemon juice. Adjust acc to taste
- Best side dish for rpti's, parathas, rice, pulaos and can be stored for 1 week to 10 days.
